Show about a cruise ship Dry Dock on TLC Channel....

I watched last week but had to work last night and did not get back until 1:00 am......forgot to tape it....

DW and I are going on the Enchantment in February, so by then the bugs should have been worked out from the current stretching. Agree that I would not want to be on a first cruise after a dry dock, or even a shake-down cruise such as my parents did a generation ago on HAL.

When I watched the show I was amazed that the clock in the lobby had not worked after day 7 of the ship being launched... so 17 years later they are finally fixing it??!!! Disney would never wait that long.

I enjoyed watching all the episodes on the refurbishment of the cruise ship and was amazed at how much was redone in that time period. I realize that they only have so many days to do this overhaul in, however I was a little concerned on how they were rushing everyone to get the jobs completed by a certain time period so that the line could get the ship up and running and start making money again. Usually when you start rushing people on a job, that job is not done properly and I think I would have a few safety concerns. I did think that having the staff from the other ships belonging to that cruise line as passengers testing out all the new and old features was an excellent ideas. They would know first hand what common complaints are what to look for. Excellent show and would love to see this on the Magic or Wonder.
