I am home sick today. But camping at FW takes some cash so I know we all have jobs.(unless retired)(one day in like 40 years) So how do we get away with chating during the day. Theres no computer on my job, but I will check Dis board on my lunch break if I get to go home for lunch.

I'm working the fire station today. I can check in from time to time. But most of us always get like this when we have a trip coming up fairly soon.

Voices in the ceiling??? Wow, my voices are still in my head, when do they move out and into other parts of the house???

I am disabled, and all I have to do is to take care of the brat, ERRRR I mean my loving son. I still work a little in my own wood shop, I kind of retired myself (I am only 39) when I couldn't really do it any more. Luckily my DW has a good job to keep me in a manner that I have become accustomed to. LOL

The disboards have kept me sane for the last couple months since I found it. I decided to open a website about rvs and camping just to have something to do. RVUSA.ORG

I work for one of the the biggest corporate monstrosities in the world (won't name them here), and I'm frequently worked 60 hours a week. When I'm not in the office, I'm still taking work home on the weekend or working late at night on my laptop from home. But ...I'm gaining a ton of experience, have a very short commute, and with the way the job market is in my area, there would be 50 engineers lined up to take my job if I quit.

So what the heck is my point? .... Well, if I'm expected to put so much time into my work- life, they better not complain if I check the DISboard during work and post from time to time! I'm actually home now, but I post mostly from work.

According to how busy I am I do peek in during the day especially when I need a break from work and something wonderful to think about. Most of the time I am here in the evening. We have to work to support our vacation and toy fund.

I steal tickets to disney world parks...and I know when the CMs at the front desk are stoned, so I threaten to tell their supervisors if they dont comp me a site or cabin...depends on how stoned they are.

I only work on Th,Fr, & Sat nights....Unless the wife is FORCING me to do something around the house I nap most of the day wake up and read the new posts, reply and fall asleep mid-reply sometimes....usually up all night, alone!!! Not many of you guys post at 3am :O(

Hmmm....well, TheBigGuy works nights, so we generally don't get up till about the crack of 10 or so...

I work for myself, though.... I make soap for a living. My business is mostly seasonal. You won't likely see me 'round here much from September through early December, that's my busy season.

And, we have that cable modem thing, so it's sorta "on" all the time....very tempting to check email forty brazillion times a day. Sheesh.

I stay home with my own little Frankensteins so I have my own "time outs" sometimes and come check y'all out. DH gets grumpy if I'm here in the evenings so I just take what I can when I can

I multitask. While a search is running, or a document is converting, or just clicking back and forth. (I've got about 12 different things running right now).

As long as I get my work done, they don't care too much.

I'm a SAHM, Homeschooler, volunteer, part-time actress (like when I manage to get a part) plus I keep a baby during the day. I pretty much just keep the Dis up all day and check it periodically when the baby is napping and DD is writing in her journal or doing a worksheet.
