Should we use DDP for Chef Mickey?

Our first trip to WDW in less than 6 weeks! We will be staying in the Contemporary for 6 nights before moving offsite for 4 nights (to save cost!), so we'll be on the dining plan for only 6 days and will have to do some meal OOP. There are 4 of us DH, Me DS10 and DS8, so we'll have 24 TS credits. We'll not be bring DD1 with us (my mum has kindly offered to babysit her while we are away because of our very long flight of more than 20 hours). We plan to share some meals because we are small eaters.

I have planned the following ADRs:

1. CP Package - Teppan Edo (DDP - 4 TS credits)
2. Rose & Crown dinner (DDP - 3 TS credits) - for Illuminations
3. Crystal Palace Breakfast (OOP)
4. Fantasmic Package - Mama Melrose (DDP - 4 TS credits)
5. Kona Cafe dinner (DDP - 3 TS credits)
6. Liberty Tree Tavern dinner (DDP - 4 TS credits)
7. Boma Dinner (DDP - 4 TS credits)
8. Chef Mickey Breakfast (OOP)
9. Ohana Breakfast (OOP)
10. Sci-Fi Lunch (OOP)

We have 2 TS credits left because we intend to share at Kona and Rose and Crown and are thinking of using it to partially pay for one of the breakfasts at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey or Ohana. We'll be in WDW from 29 Nov to Dec 8and seem to have read somewhere that the price of the buffet at Chef Mickey has increased. We checked with the CM at WDW-DINE and was told that price of buffet at Chef Mickey has been increased to $22.99 or $26.99 in December. Has anyone else heard about this? Are the prices for the rest of the buffets at Crystal Palace and Ohana still the same , i.e. $18.99 for breakfast? Because if this is the case, we're better off using our 2 TS credits at Chef Mickey. In fact if breakfast at Chef Mickey is going to cost $26.99, we may decide to cancel our ADR at Boma or Kona and use our TS credits for Chef Mickey instead.

Any advice?

So I am doing something similar staying (onsite first, offsite second) and checked with a CM @ WDW-DINE and was told that you CANNOT use your DDP after approx midnight the day you check out.

So.....If you check out on day 6, then the two remaining TS Credits need to be used by midnight that night.

If I am mistaken, please correct me.

Yes, you are right. My understanding is the same. I have planned my ADRs which I intend to use DDP on our first 6 days. We will be doing breakfast at Crystal Palace on day 3, but will still pay OOP for that since it is more worth it to use DDP for dinner. I just hope we don't end up with extra CS credits. Have you read anything about the increased price for the buffet at Chef Mickey? I thought the increase price was for the week of Christmas and Thanksgiving only, but when DH asked the CM at WDW-DINE, it seems it was from November to the whole of December. Not sure if DH heard correctly.
