This is the consideration and would like some feedback. We are booked for POR from 5/14-5/21. I got a discount code and was able to get room for $79 per night. I have heard this is a great resort and lots to do for daughter and son ages 6 and 4. As I have begun to plan I realize that knowing my kids we will be spending a lot of time in MK. Began to consider the long ride from POR to MK. Was wondering if we stayed at a resort on monorail we would save lots of time. I assume that my discount would be good on upgrade as well. I don't want to give the impression that "money is no object" because that is not the case. But do want to make the time as hassle free as possible. Are the resorts on monorail really worth the money? I heard that the GF is most expensive and the atmosphere is kind of stuffy at the more expensive resorts. Which one is the best value for your money and which one is best for kids? Thanks for your help in advance! Debi

I understand what you're going through. We had booked a room at the WL for early June. We decided to upgrade and move to the YC when AP discounts were released. Our main reason for this was that we will probably spend most of our time at Epcot and the Studios. These are the favorite parks of our 2 DS. I have not regretted making the decision to move. It seems like since I have settled on staying there, all of my planning has been much easier.
I think it pays to be realistic on the budget front, but it also pays to have some peace of mind when it comes to planning your trip. I have stayed at the CR and GF and highly recommend both.
