Should we try the 50's Prime Time Cafe?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out what MGM table service place to have Thanksgiving Day dinner at. I read some reviews over on Deb's site and there was a nice one about the 50's Prime Time Cafe and how a traditional Thanksgiving Day Meal is served and everyone there acts as if they are your cousins, brothers/sisters so on.

Has anyone tried this place for Thanksiving Day?

I am torn between doing this or Mama Melrose's with the Fantasmic Seating. What do you all think? I want to hear it all so please tell me the good and the bad.

We ate here for T'giving dinner 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. DD got the traditional turkey plate, DS got a hotdog, and DH and I got the potroast! :) It was all very good and "homey". When I was researching though, I found that most do not want t'giving here because of the antics. To me, it just seemed more like thanksgiving. Of course the antics depend a lot on your server.

You would also not believe how many families did NOT have PS's for T'giving meals and were being turned away. We had a 5:30 ps and they were running about 30 mins late.

Debating whether to go back here this year for Thanksgiving or try something different. It was a much more reasonably priced option and very good food.

Thanks for the reply. This sounds good becuase some of us are not turkey people and others must have turkey because it is Thanksgiving Day. So this sounds like it will have something for everyone. I am a pot roast fan.

Thanks for the reply. Another thumbs up for the Pot Roast I think I know what I am going to be eating.
