Should we take a cab?

Last time we were at Disney we only took the monorail to MK & Epcot from the GF. This time we will be visiting all the parks & timing will be tight getting there both days. Would taking a cab be much quicker? If so, here are my questions:

1) How long of a cab ride from GF to HS?

2) How long from GF to AK?

3) Do they start real early?

4) Do we need to prearrange or just go to the driving circle & ask concierge to get a cab for us?

5) Any idea on cost?

We will definitely take Disney transportation back. At that time I'm not so worried about the time, although I'd love any tips on how to get home. Thanks!!!

Would taking a cab be much quicker? Yes, unless bus shows up right while you are leaving resort and is not stopping at other resorts.

4) Do we need to prearrange or just go to the driving circle & ask concierge to get a cab for us? Should be fine just going to ask outside bellmen for a cab, unless an oddball time. The cabs are already there.

5) Any idea on cost? About $15-$20, plus tip, I believe.
