Should we switch Yacht Club Galley to Tony's?

Considering getting an ADR for Tony's. The only reason I was trying the YCG was because it gave me an excuse to go to the Yacht Club, where the family has never been before. Is it worth the headache of traveling to the resort, or should I go with Tony's which is at the MK and simpler to get to?

Which would be more interesting for a 5 year old? Who has better food?

Tonys is definately easier to get to. The Pizza is very good as is the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich.
The desserts are good too. The cheesecake is very good.
Your 5 year old would like the ice cream bombs. It is chocolate ice cream wrapped in vanilla ice cream and covered in a chocoalte shell. Very good! We had to order a second one of those as the kids polished off the first one in a blink of an eye!

We stay at the YC or BC every time and to be honest, we rarely go to the YCGalley because it's not really anything special :rotfl: :rotfl: It's just a Disneyfied Denny's or Friendly's to us :rotfl: :rotfl:

If you really wanted to visit the YC, it is connected to the BC as well which has a great character breakfast @ Cape May and they also serve a "clambake" buffet there at dinner as well.... the 2 resorts also share Beaches and Cream-a great ice cream/burger joint :thumbsup2

Of course, Tony's would probably be your best bet in as far as travelling with a child.... unless you were already AT Epcot in which case you could just walk to the YC/BC :)

I've been thinking about making an ADR for Tony's too. Does anyone know how much of the Lady and The Tramp theming Tony's has around the restaurant?

YCG is a coffee shop type of restaurant. Better than Friendly's I would say, but that's not saying a lot. It's fine for a simple, reasonably-priced meal, but not worth a trip from outside the Epcot resort area.

I'd go with Tony's! We eat there on our last night of vacation every year! The food is good and I love the 'Lady and the Tramp' theme in the restaurant. There's a beautiful Lady and the Tramp fountain in the middle of the restaurant as well. We also love having a table on the patio and watching the people coming into the park and leaving the park.
