My bf booked our trip for August 24th and we get free dining. I was wondering when we could start making our dinner reservations? Is it too early? If not can someone tell me how to go about booking them? And also is there a link with the list of all the restaurants? Thank you!

Well, we are going for the same time frame and I made ALL my reservations 180 days before our check-in day.
So, you better make your ADRs as SOON as possible. I guess many of the restaurants will already be booked so be prepared to book for lunch and odd times.
Good luck!!!

BOOK FIRST THING WHEN YOU WAKE UP! Ok now that I got that out..Here is a link to the menus

I get there the same day you do so I can honestly tell you many places are already full. WDW starts taking ADRs 180 days out. If you don't get what you want keep calling everyday all day if you have to. It took me 3 weeks until I finally got a ADR for Tusker house breakfast.Good luck.

You might have to eat outside of the parks (Resorts). You might get lucky and get some regular eating times.

Have lots of back ups, as most places are full.

Oh no. :worried: My bf booked this and he really doesn't know anything or doesn't tell me anything. We are sorta new at this. Since I'm pretty clueless, who do I call to make the reservations?

Audisight, I'm in San Antonio too!

Well, I would like 2 say you have a sweet bf, and although they mean well we have to just roll with it and be thankful, Well did you end up with some good ressies, and if not keep calling like everyday and if you:hippie: can twice a day, I will be at WDW for the first time in Sept and I got everyhing I wanted, 2 ressies for Le Celliar, Just by calling them all the time it pays off, I hope eveything works out if you need anything I am willing 2 help.

dont worry just be flexible if there are no children in your group choose places that are in the resorts. it seemed to me we had no problem getting res. but we were not looking for charractor stuff. you will find something just make a few back up choices and the staff when you call will help you too we could not get one of our choices and she made suggestions to something that was similar or like we wnat coral reef they day we came in and we had to to a late lunch which was fine with us we can eat a late snack or cs latter in the evening. so be patient and flexible and if you have your heart set on something just keep calling till someone cancles but book your back up just in case you never get your res.

I agree. BE FLEXIBLE! Without kids and set bedtimes and such I bet you'll be okay. I think I'd look at the menus, pick out my Fav10, call dining and ask what is available day by day and, if it's on your list, grab it. If not, take whatever is at your best time to eat. You can always check back and try to change. Either way, you'll either be eating at one of your choices or at a time that is convenient for you. Brenda

Wow, have they announced free dining for August 2009 already?

Ooops, I guess you mean August 2008. If you call immediately your choices will still be really limited. Given the 10's of thousands of people that visit the Disney parks every day there just isn't enough space in restaurants to fill the demand. Add to that free Dining and you are talking chaos.

Good luck!!
