Should we skip AK??

AK is a half day park for us. DD loves Kali River Rapids (you usually get wet!) & we all enjoy Kilimanjaro Safari, It's Tough to be a Bug, & Dinosaur. DH & I did Expedition Everest last trip because it was brand new, but I won't be getting him back on again:rolleyes1 It was a little too wild for him. If you have a park hopper I would definitely suggest allowing some time in your itinerary for AK.

Are you getting the Hopper Pass?

If so, then it would be worth trying out, at least for a few hours to see how the kids (and you) like it. I don't know how your kids are, but mine at 4 and 5 would not set foot near a ride like Everest. The will probably like the Dinoland section tho, and Tough to be a Bug, and the Lion King. They will even enjoy the Safari.

If you dont have the hopper, get it! lol

Seriously, since you have only 5 days, I assume you are looking to spend 2 in the MK, and one in each of the other. I still think you should see AK at the expense of a second day in eithre MGM or Epcot.

If you HAVE to skip a park to fit your schedule, then I would think MGM and AK are a toss up, depending on your kids interests. MGM has alot to offer small children, and I would hate to think of a trip to Disney without seeing Fantasmic.

Its funny, we ask ourselves to skip AK or not EVERY time (yearly) we go to WDW. In the end we always end up going and are happy we did. I like to look at AK as our relaxing day. We take it slow, its a shorter day as the park closes earlier then most and we just take our time and have fun. :)

You should go!
