Should we park-hop? we already have the hopper tickets

I've seen plenty of threads asking if it's worth the money to buy hoppers, but my question is a little different.
We already bought our tickets and have hopping because I get a good discount on Premium tickets through my employer.

But as I'm planning out my itinerary, I've been planning one day for each park and haven't planned any hopping. I just didn't see any advantage to doing different parks in the morning and evening. I have planned 2 days for MK, 1 for each of the other parks, 1 for Universal, 1 for Sea World, and 1 for a water park. I like knowing that we have the flexibility to spend time at more than one park in a single day, but I'm wondering if there is any reason to specifically plan to do one park in the morning and a different park in the evening.

In other words, assuming you already had hoppers and you were going to be spending 5 days at WDW theme parks, would you plan to spend mornings and evenings in different parks or do one park per day?
Why or why not?

Thanks

Since you've already got the hopping, I honestly don't think it matters.

At the end of a short Animal Kingdom day, however, you may feel like a nice dinner followed by Illuminations at Epcot.

Just an example of when it may come in useful.

But if you don't want to plan to hop, then don't!

Don't forget that park hopping consumes time for travel.

There is nothing wrong with staying in one park all day. Just happens that once in awhile something unforeseen happens such as overly large crowds, or you forgot that you wanted to see something in a different park and your schedule doesn't have time fot that on the next day or so.

I would not hop just for the sake of hopping.

You can tell a lot about the health of a person by observing what he takes two at a time -- stairs, or pills. (B. Meltzer a talk show host, among others)

Or you may be at Magic Kingdom and decide that it's just too crowded, the lines are too long, and decide to try out a different park for the rest of the day.
We hop, but we also take an afternoon break. If you're not planning on leaving the park all day, then I guess you wouldn't need to hop ;)

With the number of park days we have(pretty much every day of our vacation), I think we will need to try to fit afternoon breaks in, so we probably will be leaving the parks, at least on the days when we have evening events we want to see.

Park hop. It's the best way to enjoy WDW. You get a little break from the rides, see the different scenery on the way that you might have missed otherwise, plus get 2-4 parks worth of ride options in a single day!
