Somehow I knew that comment was going to show up here on this thread!!! LOL!!! Boy, you lose one pair of glasses on the BBR and you never live it down, LOL!!! We still chuckle about it all the time, in fact, we were in Lenscrafters the other night getting my "new" glasses adjusted, and the subject came up about losing glasses. Needless to say, everyone at Lenscrafters heard about my adventure on the BBR, LOL!!!

I think we laughed so hard because we could all feel your pain losing them Andy! I don't wear Rx glasses, just distance, but boy I would hate to lose them. You sure did make it sound funny though . I can't believe our first cruise is this April, and hey, that awesome magnet you made us is still up on the fridge from last Spring. I would die if I forgot to bring it. Its on the "list". My DD and I are planning on doing this in april. I was under the impression that you were the only ones on the boat when you went out,apparently this is not the case. Can someone tell me how many people they take out at one time and exactly how long is this, I don't want to spend a large chunk of the day sitting on a boat. I want to enjoy CC!! Thanks

There are about 10-12 people on the boat, and your air time is about 5-7 minutes each. The whole trip will take about one hour. We scheduled our parasailing for as early in the morning as possible, then we did the BBR in the afternoon. The BBR takes about 20 minutes, but is such a BLAST!!!

So from all the converstions in this post, I take it the Parasailing is fun, but pricey for what you get and the BBR is awesome and way less expensive, so I could try that and do Parasailing another time. I have two kids and would need to do tandem costing us $280 for the parasailing!! yikes.

banana boat ride?????

I'll second that... We did the banana boat ride and I can tell you that was definitely worth the money. I think it was around $14 per person and I think that ride was longer than the amount of time that you are actually parasailing. They took us waaaayyy out! DH parasailed and really enjoyed it but probably won't do it again. It also took a while when he went since you are on a boat with other folks who are parasailing and you all have to wait your turn, get buckled in, come back down, etc.

We are going on the 4/23 Western. We were thinking of waiting to book Parasailing until we were on board and were more decided about whether my son wanted to do it or not. I think we are on a full ship. Do you think we'll have trouble if we wait or should I book now?
