Should we just skip Nemo?

I am worried about being trampled while trying to get to Nemo. I am sure my three year old would love it, but he'd probably also like to do Fantasyland twice (Sunday and Monday). The only two other rides we were going to do in Tomorrowland on Sunday are Autopia and Buzz, which both have fastpass, correct? We could pick up FP during the days there and see both of those rides at various times during our trip. I am sure my three year old wouldn't mind riding Peter Pan and Dumbo more than once.

what do you think? Is Nemo a can't miss ride?

So you will only have 2 days in the park? We honestly didn't even want to try on days that weren't EE. The best way to do is if your very close to the front of the line either at the gates or at rope drop (they didn't always do rope drop when we were there). Then you could always have your DH go QUICKLY and get a spot in line. That's what I did. My DS and DH took off, walking very quickly and I caught up with them in line. The ride opened 15 minutes later, so we only had maybe a 15-20 minute wait. Not bad at all considering.

So if you can't get to the front of the line at the gates (or rope drop) the line is going to grow very quickly. For us it wouldn't be worth that kind of a wait. We had pretty much figured that we weren't going to see Nemo on this trip, but was glad we could work it in. We kind of just played it by ear.

well I missed it and am sad,but I didn't want to wait for 2 hours in the heat when I was sick,it will be the 3rd? weekend for nemo so it might be crazy still...

We will be there three days, but our last morning (Tuesday) will be sleeping in a bit and doing opening at CA. We plan on doing Fantasyland and then MTTM on Monday for EE. If we can get to the front of the pack for opening on Sunday then we may attempt Nemo, but otherwise we'll head to Fantasyland and get FP for Autopia and Buzz. I don't think it's worth an hour to wait to ride our first ride in the parks-what a bummer!

Sounds like a good plan. If you're behind the crowds, Sunday, punt and do the other things. You can always make an attempt Monday for EE. Or if you thought you had a shot and it turns out you get to Nemo and it's chaos, just get out of there and do the same thing.

I would just do it. Since Sunday is your first day at the parks, you won't be as tired as the other days. Therefore, I'd make it a point to wake up maybe a tad bit earlier to ensure that you are at the gates before most of the crowds and head straight to Nemo. Your 3 year old would probably love the ride.

Here's an idea that I don't know if it would work but it just came to me. if you do happen to get there and the line is say 45-60 minutes, I would ask the party behind you if it would be okay for maybe 1 member of your party to go get a FP, relax on a bench, or sometihing else while another stands in the line. This might keep your 3 year old occupied during the wait. I'm sure any considerate party would understand with you having a little kid, but you never know.
