Should we just buy one day passes at the gate?

We are spending one day at MK and MAYBE one day at MGM. Should we just buy our tickets at the gate the day of, or is there a place in Orlando?

Pre-purchasing means less time waiting to get in. You can buy passes at the Disney store or via online ticket brokers, like Ticketmania

A few trips ago I decided it would be a good idea to purchase them at the gate so I would have no chance of losing them before we arrived -
BIG MISTAKE! Although there were many windows open at the MK TKT Booth, and we arrived very early we waited over 30 minutes. DH, DD and DS were not happy campers...:sad2: Order before you go from Ticketmania or you can purchase them the night before in DTD.

I believe that one day tickets are only available at the gate, at Disney hotels or DTD. I know Ticketmania and the Disney Store do not sell them. I'm not sure about the Disney Good Neighbor Hotels. I know they sell tickets, but I don't know if they do one day ones or just the multi-day tickets.
