Should we heat the Pool in October?

We are renting a house in October and I'm not sure if we should have the pool heated. Has anyone been in October that could offer any feedback? Thanx a lot!

We usually rent the last week of Oct, and we always go for the pool heat. The kids like to swim at night when we get back from the park, and it can get chilly. This last Oct it was upper 40's in the morning, so in the afternoon that pool heat felt really nice.

...look at the 15 day forecast. Naturally, if you're going at the end of Oct, it can shift - but as of right now, it looks like mid- to uppper-80's for now through Oct 14. No need for heating with that...

Thank you for the feedback! As an obsessive planner it can be hard to wait and see, but it seems to be the best way to go.

We went mid-October in 2007 and it was into the 90's every day, so we didn't need to heat the pool, it was hot enough already!
