Should we go to MK Monday AM

August 2 is our first full day at WDW and we have heard Monday is bad for MK, is it possible since MK has EE on Sunday, Monday AM has gotten better? We plan on going back to swim around lunch and something else that night. Or should we actually take advantage of EE at Animal Kingdom? Thanks.

From what I've heard & read, Monday is usually the first full touring day for most people (they tend to travel on the weekend) & MK is the 1st place they head. I'd definitely avoid MK on a Monday.

Sometimes, especially if you have young kids, it's hard not to go to MK on your first full day. For me, I don't feel like I am at Disney until I walk down Main Street.

If I were you I would head to MK and be there at park opening. Try to do what you can early & head back for a swim when it starts getting busy after a few hours.

I personally don't do EMH so I would avoid Animal Kingdom on Monday. A large majority of resort guests will be headed that way so MK might not be too bad first thing in the morning.
