What is the consensus. Movie going is getting very pricey - $9 now for an adult. I think matinee is $6.50.

It got terrible reviews, if that matters to you. It doesn't usually to me. A girl from the pizza takeout joint we visit said it was the worst movie she has seen in all her life (keep in mind all her life is 15 years! :p )

We went to see it, it was ok. Nothing great and kind of drags on for awhile there. I'm waiting for next week for Princess Diaries 2!!

I'd wait for Cinderella Story on DVD.

DD's, 8 and 10, really actually enjoyed it. It did tend to drag a bit and I'm sure girls much older than they are would have been bored. Can wait for DVD in my opinion...my girls just didn't go for that! We are ever-waiting for next Wednesday's day-before-school-starts treat of "Princess Diaries 2"!

Yes, and Kallison, you will understand why I think so once you see it! Sneak in some popcorn, you can save the $. :)

I took my 12 yo DD and her friend to see it last week. We all enjoyed it. It is just a fun movie.

My mom took my DD6 to see it when it first came out. They both really liked it.

Just last week my DD14 went with her best friend (14) and her best friend's sister (16). They all enjoyed it as well.

I haven't actually seen the movie though.

I took DD12 and DD9 to see this past weekend. DD9 loved, DD12 kept finding holes in story. Nowhever near as bad as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen! . Hilary Duff is well, Hilary Duff. Pretty cute, probably worth matinee or rental, not full price.

And ITA, we're waiting for Princess Diaries!

I took my dd11 to see it the other day I was a spure of the monent thing( we were at the mall shopping) and we really enjoyed.

Im 31 and my DD 7 loved it...id say go for it...its very cute and so is Chad Michael Murray!

My dd and I liked it but I agree - I wouldn't have been happy paying full price for the movie. I would say it would be worth seeing it at a matinee price or waiting until it came out on DVD.
