Hello,
We have the option of visiting Magic Kingdom and Epcot on
either Dec 19/20 or Jan 3/4. Which would be less crowded?
I have researched this a lot but still coming up on the fence.
Thank you so much!

I can't tell you for sure but I would guess that Jan 3/4 would be less crowded. We will be there the week before Christmas (Dec 17-24) and if I had the choice, I would have preferred that first full week of January instead. My kids go back to school on January 3rd (and I work for the school district too) so it wasn't an option for us. I bet a lot of school districts go back that week so you'd probably be safer then.

We have gone every year for the past 4 years from Jan 6/7-Jan 15/16 and we LOVE IT. It is a fantastic time to go. Crowds are minimal and the wait times are manageable. The weather can be hit or miss, but I will take a cold day in Disney over a cold day at home in PA! :lmao:
We really enjoy our trips at that time especially because my DS birthday is Jan 5th, my anniversary is Jan 9th and my DH birthday is Jan 15th. We do lots of celebrating!! :cool1:
We are heading back Jan 7th and I can't wait!
If you have any questions, let me know! Have a magical trip. :goodvibes

Our school district's last day is 12/23 and reopens on 1/3. If you have everything in order for the holiday, I would rather go before Christmas and see EPCOT "Christmas Aroundthe World" and the Candlelight Porcessional. ONLY if you can go and not worry about anything that needs to be done for Christmas. Nothing worse than thinking "when I get home, I have to do this......." I don't think the crowds would really start until around the 22-23rd when the break starts.

The January trip, Ithink crowds would be light and the decorations will probably still be up. Either way, it is a great time of year. Happy Holidays and Enjoy!

I would go in Jan. I would need down time after my busy Christmas. Whenever you decide, go and create many awesome memories:)

Still trying to understand only when it will be the LEAST crowded.
We are not worried about the holidays or having down-time.
Thanks for all the advice so far! We just want to know when we
won't have to wait on the longest lines!

I have been there during both times. Jan 4th has less crowds for sure. I got there I believe on the 4th and it was the last day of the holiday decorations. If that is something you are interested in, I'd recommend looking into when they are taken down.
