I just recently learned about these and I thought maybe we would try it out. I'd probably be getting them for lunch maybe dinner for a couple of days also. so what is everyones opinion on the vouchers?

I am assuming you are referring to the quick & casual and kingdom vouchers. DH and I have used them in the past and found them to save money but that was when the q & c were 11.50 a piece of the others were $31.00 for a fill course meal. Hotwire doesn't sell them anymore and I think the others places are quite expensive and not worth the cost. You should check out the budget board and read the thread about the meal vouchers - it may help you make a decision. Good luck!

You are kind of a day late and a dollar short so to speak....these are no longer being made and all that are out there will expire on 5/31/05. They used to be an excellent value, but alas they are gone....replaced by the MYW dining plan.

Well, I guess that takes care of that!

there is still a pretty good program going on at AK to try to entice people to stay and eat (because they close and dont have night time attractions, they lose "dinner" business at their restaurants).

I dont have the exact details, but the signs for it were still up when we went in Feb and in March.

They are still available on Ebay with expiration dates up to Dec. 31, 2005 !!

yeah I saw that, but then I was thinking that maybe they were fake or something. So they do have some that are valid until Dec? We are going in Oct. so that would work.

I would stay away from those unless you got some sort of proof that they are good. The official ending date was supposed to be the end of this month.

Yes, the ones dated Dec are good and are sold online but I can't remember the address! Sorry :confused3
As someone posted earlier though check on the meal voucher site - there is a link for them on there but they are around $18 I think :) .
The ones on E-Bay are selling for a whole lot more

Yes, they are good until 12/05. But, they can get very expensive on Ebay so you really have to watch the price. Also, they are only a good value at a few places (Beaches and Cream, Pepper Market). You really have to get them cheap (I wouldn't go over $15, but that's me) and research the menus to see where you can maximize your savings. If you stay at CSR it's great - as we did. However, it's a lot of food which can slow you down !! Consider sharing !!

Thnaks all, I think we'll just use good ole cash for meals. That dosen't expire right? LOL
