Should we get Express Plus Pass?

Hello friends,

Did some reading for our Dec 22-25 trip to USO/IOA and have some questions regarding the Express Plus Passes.

We (2 travelers) plan to get the 7 days unlimited tickets for $85 and will be staying at Sheraton Studio city for 3 nights. Seems our stay will hit the most crowded weekends, what would your suggestions be on getting these Express Plus Passes. They are a bit expensive if we get 2 1day/2parks passes for 3 days. Would appreciate any comments!

i have never gone at christmas time.
i wasn't ignoring your post yesterday just hoping one of the other regulars here could give more info.

i have no idea how the attendance will be at the time you are going.

if you stayed on site, you would have the fotl, front of the line, perk for free.
it is only if you stay off site you do not get that benefit unless you pay for it.

and the epp is valid only for once per ride and attraction.

figure out the cost it wil be for you and your group to buy the epp for those days you will be visiting UO.
then figure that cost into the cost of your off site hotel room.

it might be to your advantage to stay on site for at least one night.

when you stay on site, the hotel key is your fotl pass.
it is valid from the time you check in to the hotel to park closing of the day you check out.

therefore, you stay one night at royal pacific hotel.
you get head of the line priviledges, unlimited, for the day/ night you are a resort guest and for the day you check out of the hotel.

thats two days of front of the line accessibility.


if that doesn't catch your eye and you want to stay off site, i personally would bite the bullet and buy the epp.

after spending the money to take a vacation, why wait in line for any lengthy amount when you don't have to.
