hi we are a group with 6 kids (1-16 years) and 5 adults,,,,we are going to chef mickey's for dinner at 6:30...should we go over to FW afterwards for the campfire? how would we find it?

thanks!! :dog:

Sure, you should give it a try! Just hop on a boat to Ft. Wilderness, take the outpost orange bus to the Meadows Trading Post. It is a short walk to the bus stop and another short walk to the sing-a-long. If it is Ms. Sundee doing the show, you will get a lot of interaction with the audience. She is such a wonderful entertainer. If you do go, tell her I said hi, but don't let BigDisneyDaddy know you are going! He is awful possessive of Ms. Sundee :teeth:

hey..... I resemble that remark :rotfl:

Of course I dont have her cell phone number like someone else does !

I think Ms Sundee has enough fun to go around for everyone, for now I will share.

We'll be there Sept. 10. When are you going?

Just an FYI, the "campfire" is a very small part of the whole experience. There are about 3 fire pits on either side of the outdoor movie theater. I usually just wander over there and watch a bit of the singalong and then enjoy the movie.

So if you are wondering about this big bonfire in September, that is not the case.

hi,

we will be there from september 9-14!! we are going with one part of the family for night of joy, and then our cousin with her 6 children will be joining us. im trying to make the trip really special, cause they just lost their dad (he was only in his 40's) 2 months ago. the kids really vary in age, so im not sure if they will want to do it. does anybody have some pictures of this event or outdoor theater? when will the september movie list come out? should we bring our own smore stuff and then buy sticks?

thanks everyone!!

I'm sorry to hear about their loss. My 3 youngest daughters lost their mother almost 4 years ago due to a hospital error and it was so sad. However, I have adopted all three and hubby adopted the youngest. My kids are 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 19 and all of them love the sing a long. (even the oldest, although he will not admit it) I don't know if it is the sing a long or Ms. Sundee, but they are not interested in going on Sat or Sun, when she is off. You will come out cheaper bringing your own makings for the smores. The sticks are cheap at the Chuck Wagon, so just bring the stuff to make them. I know with 6 kids eating things can get expensive very fast. I hope the kids have a wonderful time in Disney regardless if you attend the sing a long or not.

hi,

if our dinner ressies are at 6:30, will we have time to eat and make it over there? also, can you see the MK fireworks from there? what time is the movie usually over?

Campfire program will begin at 8 p.m. The movie at about 8:40 p.m. The time the movie is over depends on which movie they are showing that night. You can see the MK fireworks for the Fort Wilderness beach area.
