Okay...so I'm meeting my best friend down in Orlando for a short vacation. I fly in on the 8th of July and fly back out on the 13th. My best friend lives in Palm Coast, which is only a 2 hour drive from the World. We booked a 4 night stay at Pop with DDP. She has had some unexpected expenses pop up and will not be able to afford 4 nights. So, she asked if we could knock it down to 2. Here's what I figured...I already budgeted for 4 nights...so why not drop the res down to 3 nights (I'll pay for the third since I won't be out any extra money than already planned). We have MK and Epcot planned for park days. The 8th will be a downtown Disney day with ADR at Ohana. The 9th is Epcot with ADR at Biergarten. The 10th is MK with ADR at Crystal Palace. 11th would be checkout, so I figured we could sleep in and take our time getting back to Palm Coast for the remainder of my trip. So...question is...am I crazy for keeping the third night? Should we just cut it down to 2 nights and drive back to Palm Coast after leaving MK on the night of the 10th? My thinking is that we will be super tired after MK all day and we'd end up having to lose one of the ADRs or pay out of pocket for it. More importantly, my best friend is a single mom who has never been on a vacation let alone a Disney one! She really needs the vaca and I'm more than happy to spring for that third night. So, what would you do???:confused3

Absolutely do it. Enjoy all you can. Its not that life is so short, its that you're dead for so long. If I were you I would go for that fourth night.

I was seriously thinking about doing the 4th night and adding on AK for a third park day! With flying instead of driving, I won't really be able to take home many souvies anyway. I'm so excited for her to experience Disney! Her son will be visiting his dad and my hubby is staying home, so it's just the two of us. I haven't seen her in over a year....so it doesn't really matter what we do...just as long as we get some quality best friend time together!
