2nd trip, 1st with 4 1/2 year old boy. Is there ocassion to wear jeans? Or is shorts the only way to go? I need a quick response. We are leaving Saturday!!!!! Thanks.:bounce:

We always go the last week of May/first week of June (this year too!). Anyway, I always bring jeans and a lightweight jacket for everyone, and every year I bring them back home unworn! It is normally in the high 80's, and gets down to the mid to low 70's at night. We never use them, and they take up a ton of room on the suitcase. This year I will be brave and not take them. I figure if it gets cold, it will be a great excuse for buying a Disney sweatshirt! Have a great trip!

Unless you wear jeans and jackets when it's 90 degrees and up, you won't need them! Some people complain about the air conditioned restaurants, but they are never too cold for us. We're leaving next Thursday (third year in a row for this week) and will not be taking long pants or jackets.

I always bring at least one pair of jeans for everyone. You never know. If it becomes unseasonably cold, you don't want to waste time and money buying pants. MY DH and DS's now have the jeans that zip-off to shorts. I will definitely be packing those!

Florida is warm and very humid. I wear jeans when it's 120 out but most people seem to prefer shorts. Wear whatever makes you comfortable but don't try to change now. My wife would die if she had to wear long pants the whole week while the only shorts I'll have will be a swim suit.

The evenings have been a little more breezier and cooler than it usually is in May (in South FL), not sure if Orlando is cooler or hotter.

But I would slip in a pair of long pants for nite time if needed (lightweight cotton pants, not jeans) in case it gets humid or rainy because if those pesky mosquitoes come out, they can be hungry little buggers especially if you're staying in a hotel that is by a lake or in the woods (especially the WL area). Better safe than sorry (I really try not to use the bug repellent if I can help it).

Zip-pants is a good one:p

Hi There,
Shorts, shorts, shorts all the way!!

You won't need jeans but you will need light breezy clothing.

And sandals. I don't like wearing sneaks to do the parks; too warm. I think Tevas are the best around.

I'd say no to jean but yes to long pants! I usually pack khakis for all of us. They are nice if you want to dress up a bit for dinner, or if it gets a little breezy. They are smaller & lighter to pack than jeans.

I'm with you GrumpyOne. My usual atire is black jeans and my black ropers. My feet won't tolerate any kind of tennis shoe. I've worn this every time to WDW and it doesn't bother me. I'm conditioned to the high heat also.
