Our kids are ages 8, 10, and 12. When we go amusement parks that we drive to, we usually take a red wagon to bring along a cooler with H2O, snacks, sweat shirts, towels, etc... Last year when we took an amtrak to disney we were able to take the wagon. This year we are fllying. Should we take a stroller with us????? It is easier then carring around a back pack all day and we will have no ware to put it when we go on the rides. Will the air line charge us extra to bring it???

Doesn't Disney have rules about coolers? I don't think you can take it in anyway.

My opinion, No.;)

My kids are 10,8 and 4. We took a stroller for DD in September and she used it maybe 30 minutes a day. We ended up leaving it back at SSR for the last part of the trip. I hated pushing it around and dealing with moving it to stroller parking areas, etc.

The thing I am looking forward to the most about our next trip...NO stroller!! :cool1:

My boys never sat in a stroller again after age 4. DD seems to be the same. They walk a lot here so walking in WDW is not an issue for them at all.

As for bringing it for carrying bags, it would be more of a pain then anything to me. I prefer my Donner bag or a lightweight backpack to walk around the parks with. You could also get a locker and go back to it during the day for a snack, etc. I could be wrong but I think they only allow smaller size soft sided coolers.

we took one with us until our last trip when our DD was 7. She walked all day with few complaints. in a way we missed having the thing. It was handy to store our resort mugs and her extra change of clothes. nobody ever bothered it even when we would leave it for hours. you may enjoy the trip more with your 4 year old if you take one. WDW is stroller friendly.

at that age i'd take nothing, you can't take a wagon into disney anyways so that's not an option... at 8 i'd think walking all day would be fine, but there is always the options of renting from diney for then stuff can go in the stroller when the child is walking.

I'm with Becky. At your kids ages, I'd take nothing but a backpack and feel super free b/c you are not toting around a diaper bag and stroller!
