Should we be worried about the hurracne were flying from flint Mi to orlando Fri morning do I start top panic yet? Im really bad at locations and distance I know it looks as if its missing orlando but would the flight have to change or am I a total idiot and were not going anywhere near it? Also does anyone know the weather says t-storms for orland are near 50% daily at thsi point are these the 20 min rains I have heard about or are these more???? thanks just getting nervous been planning and saving for 2 yrs getting close and on top of everything were all home sick with sinus, ear, and brontisi infections Hopefully we will all be almost over them before Fri am!!!

I wouldn't panic based on flying from Flint MI area to WDW. Your flight would not likely change. Based on Monday morning forecasts, winds are not going to have a big effect on Orlando. Friday, the storm is projected to be up near the Chesapeake Bay.
Weather has been beautiful for the past week in Orlando.

Best idea if I could suggest, is to get well at home, getting over the colds, ear infections etc. and then come on down to enjoy your Disney vacation. You might get chewing gum to use on the flight down to help keep those ear canals equalized for pressure, due to sinus infections.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to control or change the weather, so it will do you no good at all to panic or worry. Just go about your business as if you knew nothing about this!

Just curious...are you flying ATA?
On one of our recent flights, we msat next to a couple from Flint who flew them and were on a small aircraft coming to Chicago into Midway. Then they switched onto a 757 for the trip to Orlando. I didn't even know that ATA offered service out of Flint, but they said they got a great rate.
