Should Mickey Mouse be in more movies and T.V shows?

I am wondering why the lack of movies and Mickey Mouse T.V. Shows? Should he have more current movies and T.V shows? Mickey shouldn't be so picky?

I'd love to see more material involving the older Disney characters. I wonder how many children really know and understand Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc. Now, I know people will say it is 2017 and there are new characters such as Elsa, Olaf, Moana and such. However, those great classic Disney characters operated perfectly well alongside of Cinderella, Snow White, etc., and have carried on through generations. It is time to feature them again!

I would be ecstatic if they continued producing the new Mickey Mouse shorts, I think those are absolutely wonderful but I believe they've decided to end after the Christmas Special they did last year. Now with so many new Disney Characters and Mickey Shorts, I think they could revive "House of Mouse" and have it do very well.

I do think a lot of children know who Mickey and Friends are since there's been a Disney Jr show going starring them since 2006. It would be great if they knew them all from the classic cartoons, but at least Disney is keeping their icons alive in one form or another. I grew up in a time when Mickey wasn't really on TV at all, and even if he was I wouldn't have been allowed to watch it, and I still knew who he was. I just thought he was the king of Disney World or something like that.

Supposedly he is going to star in two theatrical movies Disney is in early production on - one live action film about Disneyland's Magic Kingdom coming to life, and an animated one about him and the rest of the fab five.

I am totally for Mickey and friends being out there more. I have a 5 year old nephew that loves the mouse, he was in awe when I showed him some youtube clips of the mickey shorts

I'm not so much worried for Mickey, rather than many of the other characters. Like Chip & Dale, Daisy Duck, and even other movie characters. Although, I have had come across some people who didn't know who Donald Duck was. No joke.

I think every Disney branded movie should have at least one brand new short in the theaters, just like they used to be way back in the day. This way, kids who do go to the movies can experience Mickey and friends and keep their existence refreshed.
