Hi Folks. Flying out from Gatwick next Thursday and still no tickets from Virgin. Is it time to give them a call? I'm not very happy with them at the moment either because someone from Virgin phoned me last week to tell me that I owed them £17. As I had paid all my balance in plenty of time I wasn't too pleased. Her explanation was that my online discount has been calculated wrongly at the time and they had just found out that I owed them £17. I told her that as it was Virgins mistake and the balance had all been paid, surely it was too late for them to take it off. But no, she stuck to her guns and said I must pay up. So I did - but not too happy.

Hi Zara,

If you are at all worried about the late arrival of your tickets then i would give them a ring, after all it'll give you peace of mind :) they may say the reason they are late is because you had to pay the extra balance :rolleyes1 and so making the sending out of your tickets later than planned, just a thought.:)

Audrey:)

Hi Zara,

I wouldn't worry too much, our tickets only arrived about a week ago so I'm sure they are on their way. It might be worth a call though to see if they can confirm when they were sent out.

We are also flying out a week Thursday and still don't have our tickets, hopefully they will arrive very shortly.

Virgin always seem to send out tickets rather late, usually about a week before you are due to leave, but im sure it would put your mind at rest if you called them. We usualy keep track of our ticket sending status online which has always been accurate for us but I know others haven't always found that reliable.

Just got off the phone to VHols and they have advised me tickets have been posted out today so should be with us in a couple of days. :cool1:

Just as an indication of how (un)reliable it can be. Our tickets arrived last Monday, I have just checked online and it still says "Tickets not yet sent".

That happened to us for the last two trips!
