For our November trip (Thanksgiving weekend) we will be staying at WL. I was planning on using the valet, but what if I want to drive to the parks? Do I call from my room and have them bring the car around? What if there are a lot of people checking out and I end up having to wait forever? What is the best route to go here?

We always stay @ WL and use the valet. We also drive to the parks everyday. With 3 small kids it is just easier to get the kids and the stroller in and out of the car rather that getting on and off the bus. Some people might think $7.00 per day is too much when the buses are free but it saves us a lot of trouble. Also, we have NEVER waited more than a couple of minuets for our car. There are plenty of CM's waiting even at the most busy times.

I love valet parking, for 7 dollars a day it is worth it. I just learned last trip you can valet park all day for 7 dollars, any of the Disney hotels, all you have to do it tip the people when they get your car for you. I don't have kids but the warks from the parking lot to the front door are long and after a day at a park you look at that long walk as a mile. :D

I agree, valet parking is DEFINITELY the way to go. Usually we just ask for the car when we get to the valet desk, and it takes less than 2 minutes for them to retrieve it.

If we are REALLY in a hurry, then one of goes ahead and requests the car, so when the rest of our group catch up, the car is there waiting.
