Should I upgrade to a Smartphone?

Ok, I am going to hijack this cause I have a question that goes along with it... Anyone on verizon? Iphone or the new htc thunderbolt? and does anyone kow of a good good gps app for the iphone? I always used the vz navigater for directions before/

I just had to laugh when I read your post because I was also going to hijack this thread!:goodvibes
I"m with T-mobile (very happy with it) and I think it's time to upgrade to a smartphone for a variety of reasons. One being texting, my phone is the old texting (pushing each key the required amount of times to get the letter you want) and with kids/grandkids who are avid texters, I want to be able to respond easier. Also, I love the idea of all the app's, etc. So, my question is ...which T-mobile smartphone would you recommend?
I feel like a dinosaur in the technololgy age!!!

I use my phone (landline at home and Tracfone for mobile) about one to two hours a month. Obviously, I am not a customer for a smart phone.

Two days ago I got an iPod Touch. Pretty cool gadget! I guess it does just about everything an iPhone does except make phone calls.

It does help if you are in a place that has wifi. That is just about everywhere.

My partner also has an iPod Touch. We can "phone" each other now for "free" from our wifi workplaces with FaceTime. Pretty darn cool!

Is there free Wi-Fi in the WDW parks?

Is there free Wi-Fi in the WDW parks?

Short answer - nope. My partner thinks that WDW is like a third world country since it does not have free WIFI.

FREE Wi-Fi Locations:

Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex offers FREE Wi-Fi. You usually have to pay admission to get into the complex, but the Official All-Star Cafe and some other areas near the main entrance (such as the gift shops) do have coverage and can be accessed without buying admission. Click here for more info.

All of the Osceola County Public Library branches have FREE Wi-Fi access. The West Osceola Branch Library at Water Tower Place #21, 6070 W. Irlo Bronson Highway (Hwy 192) in Celebration is the closest to Walt Disney World and some of the other branches are within easy driving distance. No printing is possible through the wireless connection.

Panera Bread offers free Wi-Fi (and yummy sandwiches). The closest Panera to Disney property is at 8600 Vineland Avenue. Call (407) 842-1300 for hours.

Starbucks has free Wi-Fi at its three free-standing locations near Disney property:

SR-535 and Vistana Centre (13401 Blue Heron Beach Drive, across the street from Vistana Resort)

Orlando Premium Outlets (8200 Vineland Avenue, #1106)

Celebration & 192 (6075 Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, across the road and to the west of Water Tower Place)
