Should I try online check in? We are staying at Kidani. Can I make room requests online? Basically, what are the pros and cons?

We stayed at Kidani and used on line check in and it worked fine. We went to the on line check in line and everything was ready for us. I believe you can make requests but we didn't. Have fun and let us know if you like the resort. We loved it

If you have made any requests through MS, I would not use online checkin.

I did not use online checkin, but when we arrived I asked whether the stories here about online checkin cancelling requests were true. The CM said YES -- that online checkin definitely cancels any requests you have in the system.

She said the only purpose of online checkin was to speed up the checkin process and reduce lines -- which in management-speak means reducing headcount at the front desk.

While there are some options for requests with online checkin, I think they are very limited.

I agree with PP. The couple minutes you save using online check in is not worth the risk of loosing your requests. Many have reported that the online check in system does not see any requests you made with MS.
