Should I try a surprise?

Um, yeah, I think that report is overdue. A bit. Let me know when you finally do it so I can read it!

LOL!! I'm WAY behind on posting trip reports and pics. I have several done or mostly done, I just kept running into interruptions as I was almost done and never could get to them to finish them. (I know, excuses, excuses... :teeth: )

I did plan a surprise for my husbands birthday last year. I had a bonus he knew nothing about and managed to book a cruise through Dreams Unlimited. I used DVC points to make up the rest of the week. I was not going to tell him till the night before. Then I would tell him Valentines day for our March WDW trip. Well some time in January I did finally tell him because he books work in advance and wanted to start booking that plus Dr’s appts so I thought it would be better to have him know about the “trip” not necessarily the whole thing.

I’m glad in the end I told him because we shopped for his clothes and were excited together. He guessed about the cruise and was not thrilled but managed to have a good time. He has a height thing and was worried about being so high up in the air. It was a factor but he did quite well and the cruise was beautiful – but not for us. We like being on land. It was pure heaven for a week. Just the 2 of us no kids and a great time!

A surprise is great but in the end, it was better that I told and now you can plan accordingly. I’ll be there on 11/29 till 12/7, so COME ON DOWN!
