Should I tell them about 1 of my children?

When we go next summer my youngest child will be 2.5 years old. If I add her to the reservations online, it kicks me to an upgraded room, which also adds a lot of money. Would it be a problem to not tell Disney about her since she is still considered free?

I know they do it for firecodes safety.. but I totally understand your situation... they told us we couldn't stay at Cornado since it was just 3 of us and they only had a King Size bed.. I thought that was crazy!

First off the 2.5 can go in the room no problem - the online system just isn't set up to take her on there without adding her in as a paying person so no problem there.

Secondly there are no room checks.

Most value/moderate rooms accomodate 4 people, with a 5th person under 3 years old. So, you shouldn't have a problem, unless you'll have 6 people. Then, it's a fire code issue. :sunny:

I booked through AAA and told them 2 adult 3 children, youngest being 2. All my ressies do not show the youngest, but they assure me that is normal and since they do not charge for him it won't matter.

I added my ds as an infant (he is also 2 1/2). That is what the resort will consider him since he is under 3.

If you want a crib for the 2 1/2 yr old, then you need to put her on the reservation.

You have to find someone at CRO who knows what they are doing, it's tough sometimes :goodvibes . I went through the same thing, was told that the only rooms at the GF that would fit my family (five plus a two year old) was a 2 bedroom suite :earseek: I just hung up and tried again until I got someone who knew how to work the computer system, eventually we got it and little Zoe is listed on the reservation, with no tickets and no extra charge for a larger room. If you are in a deluxe resort, the crib will already be in the room, but you still should have the 2 year old on the reservation.

I've had that problem online too. It's weird, sometimes it will work fine and another it won't accept the 3 kids. You can just add her at check in.

If you try to get an online quote or book online- just leave her off the ressie. If you call they will add her and it shouldn't be a problem.

Make sure your child is listed as a hotel guest. God forbid there is a fire or something and they don't know that there is a child there. If you were to be separated you would want the hotel to have a good head count!

This is correct. You cannot book "accurately" on-line. You have to call Disney.
