Should I take the bus to AK for 8am Breakfast even though we are checking out?

We are switching resorts (AKL to GF) and on the morning of the switch we have an 8am PS at Donalds for wife and I and 3 kids under 7.

I was figuring on driving and then when we leave head straight to the GF to check in, but everyone says they don't let you into the AK parking lot until 8am.

Or should i check out, leave the car in AKL lot and just take the bus back and forth.

I would take the bus to the park if for no other reason than not to hassle with possibly missing the breakfast. Since the park is close to the lodge, travel time is not that bad and from what I remember the wait times aren't bad either.

It may be an inconvience but being aggrivated at the parking attendants would probably be worse.

I would just take the bus as well. Since you will be right there at AKL it will be easier. Have them transfer your luggage for you and then after breakfast just take the bus back to get the car.
