We're goinng in November. Should I take my own pack n play? Are the ones offered at Disney okay?

I thought the pack-n-plays were fine. I think they were Graco brand, but I'm not positive. I wiped down the sides with a Clorox wipe for my own comfort level. We also brought extra sheets and DS's blanket, since they just provide 1 (rather thin) sheet.

The ones that you will find there are fine. Bring your own sheet for it, though.

I thought about bringing mine but the ones in the room were in good condition. I did bring my own sheet though.

We have used them a few times and my sil just used one in Oct 06 and Jan 07 and they were brand new or nearly new.

I would agree with pp's though and bring your own PnP sheets. You know they are clean, will fit well and the smell and feel will be familiar for the child.

We've used the room ones twice now and loved them!
They are Graco brand and always clean!
We brought our own bedding, but theirs was fine :)

Do all rooms have pack-n-plays or just DVC resorts? Can they be requested?

They are free, but I did need to request them my last two trips. Both times I requested it in the reservation. With one (ASMu) it was in the room when I checked in and with the other (POR) I called when we got to the room and they delivered it within the hour.

Maybe we are the only ones that had a bad experience, but I felt I should warn you. We stayed at Saratoga Springs in January and the one in the room there was brand new-I also wiped down the sides and used my own bedding, but I felt totally comfortable with it and I am kind of a germophobe (especially when it comes to my baby). We usually rent a crib from ABBF, but since we were moving hotels this time, we decided not to. We moved to a mod from Saratoga, and had to request one-twice. The two they brought were both old and disgusting. The matresses were both stained with urine, and one of them had gum smeared all over it. After the second gross one we gave up and just had him sleep with us, since it was only for 2 nights, but I wouldn't have wanted to do that all week cuz I didn't get much sleep! I don't think I'd ever fly with my own-too heavy, but I'm already thinking that for our next trip on August I'll be renting the crib again. Hope it helps!

The only time we requested a Disney Pack n play was at the WL. It was fine, but I had brought my own "just in case". Since I already had mine with me I just decided to stick with our own germs and use ours. However, if I had not had the ability to travel with mine I would have been OK with using theirs-after a wipe down with Clorox wipes. My dd at the time was only 10 months old so sleeping with us was not an option. We did have our own sheets with us too.

We stayed at OKW & ours was fine. I wiped down the rails, etc. with clorox wipes, and I brought the insert pad & sheet from our PNP.

I was wondering this also. I was a little worried that if I request one and something strange happens and they run out that I will be screwed. My son only sleeps in his crib so co-sleeping or on a ned would be out of the question. Has anyone had that happen or am I being paranoid?
