I don't know if this is the right board to post this question. If not feel free to move it. I just didn't want to get this confused with Festival of the Lion King at AK. Disney Presents the Lion King is coming to my town this fall. I took DD at age 4 to Beauty and the Beast. (Girls night out) She was a little tired toward the end but behaved well and enjoyed the experience. My question is, would this be more for DH and I or would my DD now 5 1/2 enjoy this as well.

I would especially if she enjoyed the other one

OOPs. I thought you were asking about Festival of the Lion King.

I took my sons to see The Lion King on Broadway when they were 6 and 3. They sat mesmerized throughout the entire performance, and they are active little kids, particularly the younger one! Something about the colorful costumes, coupled with a fabulous, familiar storyline held their interest the entire time.

I think if your DD made it through Beauty & The Beast, she'll be fine with TLK. If I remember correctly, the show was about 2 - 2 1/2 hours long, with an intermission half way through.

I have never been to a Disney Musical,k but wanted to say I think you should take her. What a neat experience.

I have never been to it but I will take my DGD if it comes to my area!!

Take her!!! I am amazed at the things that my DD and DS remember from their childhood!! So make a Great Memory for her!!!

Take her, she'll love it.

I was a little nervous taking my then 6yo to Beauty & the Beast (she doesn't sit very well) but she did great.

Lion King is one of her favorite shows so I didn't worry about it and she was 8yo. It is a great show for kids, the only part I'd caution about was we went to a late show and there were some little ones (maybe 3yo) that fell asleep. I'd be disappointed if they were mine.

If you can sit on a aisle seat on the bottom, the puppet animals walk down some of them going to the stage. My DD loved that they were right beside here for a little bit :)

snoopy....two active little boys...huh.....now I'm thinking maybe I should take DS (4 on 7/1) too. He's is very active. I guess if he get's restless DH could stay with DD and DS and I could take a walk. I can go see it with some friends again. Maybe he'll suprise me. It would be a great family experience. I'll definatly take DD. Well se what DH says about DS.

Thanks again.

Tammy
