Hi,

I've heard terrible things about how bad Chef Mickey's food is and I have an ADR for breakfast there in July. I was wondering if I should switch to Crystal Palace. I've been to Crystal Palace before (dinner) and I already have it on my ADR list (dinner).

Thanks,
Simon :)

We love both CM and CP. Breakfast is the best meal at CM IMHO, but the mashed potatoes at dinner are awesome. I think CP has a slightly fresher, crisper taste to their dinner than CM. However, your ADR was for breakfast and breakfast at both places is similar, then you also get two different experiences. I would stick with what you have

No, I would never switch my plans based on some stranger's opinions. Go and experience it for yourself. I am sure you'd have fun at either one!

We've done both and food wise CP is better but we don't go to CM for the food, more for the Party-like celebration with Mickey.

Although the food at CM isn't the best on property it is not awful. Certainly not so bad as to change plans around.

What she said :thumbsup2. My family wants CM for the first night dinner in order to get into the Disney mode. I liked the food at CP better, but for us, the party is way better at CM.

Ask yourself these questions. What are you more inclined to comment on or post a review about? The fantastic experience you had with your family at a dinner? Or the crappy service you got from somewhere else? You buy a roll of toilet paper and you have 2000 sheets of contentment. Do you write a ltter to the company and tell them you love their product? But if another roll was just off a bit but still did the job, would you write to complain?

Humans gripe when they are dissatisfied for whatever reason, big or little. When was the last time you sent in a letter to anyone praising the service or prodcut you received?
