Should I sell my bug?

I bought my Cricut baby bug in Jan. & have about 8 carts that I've only used a couple of times. I'm looking into going digital. Should I sell my cricut to buy digital software? Anyone else gone digital & not regret it? I like the cricut but I don't have a scrap room (only my dining room table) & I just find it a pain in the rear to pull it out to only do a few cuts. Any thoughts appreciated.:confused3

I would suggest waiting, since you haven't made the leap to digital. What happens if you decide digital is not for you?

But if you are not going to use it, even for school projects or anything I would sell it. Especially since you don't have the space to use it.
That is the one down fall of mine, is lack of space. I scrap at in the dining room too.

I'm doing a lot of digital stuff now, but I"m still keeping my bug. I'm not totally giving up on paper scrapping yet! And I'm sure my DS will have some school projects in the future and it will come in handy for those!

I also think you should try the digital before you sell your bug. I totally understand where you're coming from about space. When I first got mine it was a real pain to bring it to the kitchen table from my 2nd floor bedroom every time I wanted to do something. I didn't start to really use it until I got a dedicated scrapping space (a drafting table in my bedroom). I never would have bought the Expression if I couldn't leave it set up.

I started doing digital last February and I told myself that I would still do traditional since I have a few albums to finish. I don't have space to keep my stuff set up - so I would have to pull it out and put it away since I have three young children.

The only thing I have to do is close my laptop cover now! I love digital - less mess, takes up less space, and saves a ton of money!! I still have all of my traditional stuff and tools. I have used some of my tools for my oldest DD's school projects. I have finally decided that since I do not have a dedicated area for my sizzix, quickcutz, and cricut - that I am going to sell them to my friends that won't go digital.

But I agree with others that have posted - try digital before you sell anything - it may not be for you. I use SBC+ from Creative Memories and I love it. If you haven't already - check out the digital threads:)

I'd ditch the Sizzix and Quickcutz for sure, but I'd still be tempted to keep the bug. It takes up a lot less space than all of those dies! Oooh, think of all the great digi stuff you can buy with the proceeds of your sizzix and QK sales!! :cool1: Sell 'em on eBay and load up your PayPal account!! ;)

I have only the Disney carts, and although i love them,. i find it so much work that i never bother using it. I had it for 1 yr and did my first traditional Disney page, but after a few characters and stuff, found it too time consuming. I love the Fonts, but i have so many more CM Alpha stickers that make it go so much faster. I would like to sell it too, but thought maybe my DD9 would use it in a few years for projects etc.... Right now she get frustrated

I would say keep it, but sell the die cutting stuff. I would never go digital personally, as its too much like being at work - I don't want to sit in front of a PC all evening as well as all day (OK here I am posting on Sunday morning, but you know what I mean:rolleyes1 ) I scrap on the dining table too, and now I have to go clear it ready for lunch or DH moans:headache: Still too windy to eat outside - we're having a BAD summer again:sad2:
