I made zero requests for our September trip..... We are just so happy to be going, that what we look at, or where we are located isnt really an issue.....

BUT I have never been in a non-dedicated 2 bedroom..... is this any concern for us with small children? I figure we can throw the top lactch on the front doors, but is there another door that leads to a balcony? What about the microwave and fridge that are in the studio portion...... can the microwave be reached by a determinded 4 year old?

I will call tomorrow (10 days out) and put the request in, but I would still like your thoughts on securing the villa.

Hi, Laura. I am not sure about your questions, and I do think calling is your safest bet.....ALMOST your safest bet. Your absolute, positively safest bet would be to invite someone along to guard the appliances in the second bedroom.
I don't know of anyone up for the task, so I will be a sport, and volunteer my services.
Honestly, there would be no pleasure in it for me, but I will sacrafice for a fellow DISer! :teeth:

Enjoy VWL!

I think dedicated vs lockoff is actually reserved when you make the reservation. You should call member services, not VWL, to see how your reservation is setup.
