Should I request at area/floor at BCV??

I request when we stay at SSR and now for OKW but what about BCV??? I didn't request but should I?? Are there any coveted areas?

If there is something important to you (ie top/bottom floor, near/away from elevator) then by all means go ahead and request it. We don't bother ourselves.

I always ask for "quiet area" to get a woods view. I tried just asking for "woods view", but MS insisted there was no such view(!) I even tried to ask for "looking at trees", but they wouldn't take it. So now I ask for "upper floor, quiet area" and love the woods view.

We are BCV owners. I also ask for an upper floor, you can see better over the trees this way. We often seem to get the "road view", but the thing with that view is that you can see Illminations (not perfectly of course) and you can hear the Beatles music from the World Showcase.

Remember, overall, the views from BCV are not "special". We also liked the pool view, it was nice.

The Illumiations view is very loud, I liked it, but my DGD, it scared her. The road is right there, so really not much of a view. I think the pool would have been better.

We will be going to BCV also for the first time in September. Is it a long walk to the lobby and food court. Would it be good to request a room near there? I know when we come back to the room at night we are usually too tired to walk one more step than necessary!

There is NO food court at the Yacht and Beach Club or Beach Club Villas.

While not a food court, there certainly is an area for refillable mugs, sandwiches, treats and especially gelato!
