Should I Rent A Car?

I am arriving tomorrow morning at 9:30 for a week. We are staying at Marriot Springfield Suites (downtown). Is it cheaper to get a cab to and from airport or rent a car?

First of all, Welcome to DIS! Where have you been? Too bad you didn't find us earlier!

It usually cheaper to take a limo or a cab from the airport than a rental car.

However, having a rental car will give you more options than not. Especially from the downtown area. Are you going to WDW? Universal? Does your hotel provide a shuttle?

If you're planning to go to WDW or Universal, you would be better off closer to the action:

If you had more time, you could probably ferret out a great rental car rate. Since it's the last minute, try www.orbitz.com for rental cars.
