Should I rent a car?

I'm surprising my DD5 with a trip for her birthday October 10 - 13th to Disneyland. We are flying into SNA and staying at Best Western Park Place, so we'll be able to just walk across the street to Disney. I was just down there for work recently and spent $44 for a cab one way. Renting a car will cost $150. I'm tempted to not rent a car and just get transportation to/from the hotel. Is that a bad idea? Will I regret not having a car?

SAve your $$. If you want to travel to the store or something, there is always ART.

Keep an eye on car rental prices on Hotwire. You can sometimes get a car for as little as $15 day. I have even gotten it for as little as $13! If you are just driving back and forth from the airport to the hotel you can get the cheapo compact car.Check prices right before you leave for best price. If not opt for the cab.

There is also an Alamo rental desk in DTD so if you decide to rent a car for one day, there is that option. On our last trip, we rented a car the first and last day of our trip to get to and from the airport (Long Beach) and we also went shopping the first day as well. We reserved online beforehand and got a better deal that way than just using a shuttle or taxi.

I get so confused about driving there that rental cars are not an option. you can get around so easy if you need to go to the store or any where else. I would say no to spending more money on a rental

How does one do the art to Target? where does one catch it, and can you pay the art directly or do I need to get a ticket? also anyone know where the art schedule and map are?

I don't think renting a car is necessary. I agree with the previous poster that said you can use ART if you need to go to the store.
