So, I just realized that about 3 loads of laundry I did today were done on the "Small" setting instead of the "Super" setting. Should I rewash them?

Yes, I really really stupid, thanks.

I wouldn't care if they were washed with the dog. I wouldn't wash three loads over again.

My clothes? Yes. The kids' clothes? Hhhmmm

I love doing laundry, but no way am I going to do three loads over again. if you're still uncomfortable, run them all through the dryer with a sock soaked in fabric softener. It'll make the smell (and feel) really fresh and new.

I know someone who takes her kids jeans & puts them in the dryer with a fabric softer sheet & folds them & puts them back in the drawers. The kids do not know this. She got tired of washing jean that were worn only once. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the replies - now I won't feel so guilty when I put them away in the kid's drawers. Just remember this though, if I'm back in the next two weeks asking about a rash the kids have suddenly developed. :rotfl:

Just kidding, actually i really don't mind doing laundry, it's everthing else I hate.

Been there, done that and unless they're still in the washer at the time I notice it, I have never rewashed them. We've somehow managed to survive it. LOL

If you're talking dishes though, I always rewash them. You know, when you're not really sure if that load has been washed yet? I won't take that kind of chance! I'd rather wash them twice than not at all.

too funny!

My kids' clothes never go into a dryer. I'd be in BIG trouble if I ever shrunk them! I make my daughter wear her clothing 2 times, minimal, before I wash them though, unless of course she got something on them. She's 14, isn't really moving much in school, changes for gym and showers, and changes the instant she gets home. She LOVES her clothes (I actually laugh when I hear her saying how much she loves them) and I tell her if she wants to keep loving them, she needs to take care of them. Some of her outfits have run into the $200 range and I'd be shocked if she had less than 40 outfits (not all cost that much). It's so nice when they're pretty much done growing! I'd have never spent that when she was younger.

It is funny, but if you do it, you'd better make sure there is nothing on them. Any stain will set in the dryer.

yeah. I'll do a hundred loads of laundry before I'll wash the dishes. I HATE washing dishes.

I have done that a couple of times, and NO I don't rewash them. Don't feel guilty!

I don't hate doing the laundry.... heck the washer and dryer do all the work....LOL It's the folding and putting away today.
I got a new washer and dryer today - looked at those with all the bells and whistles, but decided to stick with your basic models - unless one of the bells and whistles includes folding and hanging up - then I can do with the basics for DD and my clothes! They do look so nice and white in my laundry room!

You should do what you are comfortable with, but I would probably run them through a rinse. I think that the detergent, which you must have measured for a large load, would not be all rinsed out with the amount of water for a small load. So yeah, I'd rinse everything again.

None of my business, but I think I'd tell the teenager that his or her clothes aren't always being washed when they are put back in the drawer having been run through the dryer with a fabric softener sheet. If the child has spilled something or sweat or had a small accident that the parent didn't know about, it would be embarrassing if the item weren't actually washed.

Wow, I'm going to admit something. I don't even separate my colors anymore!!! :rotfl:

I go to a laundry-mat. It's such a pain in the you know what, by the time I haul everything there, wait for an available machine, I'm just so done with it that I throw everything in one, hit warm, and I am done!

I've not suffered a color tragedy yet. :lmao:

If you find one of them, would you please PM me? I agree those bells and whistles would be nice! :rotfl2:
