Should I pack any long sleeves-next week?

I know it will be super hot when we go to Disney next week...but wondering if we will want anything long sleeved for when we are in the air conditioning? Any advice? I don't like the idea of carrying extra clothes around the parks, but will we need something? I am particularly concerned about my 3 and 6 year old. Thanks!

I always bring long sleeves anywhere, anytime.

That AC can get COLD!!!

I have to agree with the PP, we always make sure we have long sleeves with us. Sometimes the air gets cold.

Maybe take a light jacket(shirt like material). I don't know about anyone else but my girls freak when I take shirts off or on because it messes up their hair. They are 4 and 6 boy that girl stuff sure does start early.

Just a basic long-sleeved shirt that also can be used to cover arms exposed to a bit too much sun works well. Or similar light jacket. I tend to take a microfiber jacket with me. Very light weight and doesn't wrinkle.

I always bring a sweater for DD5. She freezes in air conditioning, even if it is 100 outside, and sometimes you might be wet from a ride when it is time to go into a show or a restaurant. DD9 is pretty much never cold, so she generally doesn't use hers, but DD5 uses hers at every meal.

I would bring long sleeves. We were in WDW 2 weeks ago and it was so cold in the Sci Fi Cafe that we had to ask to be moved. It was seriously cold, we took the towel from the backpack and put it over our legs. The people in the front of our car had a baby blanket on them and it was still too cold they had to leave.

When will you be there? I am also from WI and we are going next week too! We are leaving Sat

Yay Wisconsin! We leave on the 16th, staying at Royal Plaza and then the Poly for the second half of our vacation. :)

As for the long sleeves, my husband is saying we won't want to carry them around in the parks. I am torn, because the post about Sci-Fi being so cold worries me, as well as the idea of going into air conditioning after being wet...

I may have to make an administrative decision on this matter.

I have a gauze blouse that I always roll up and carry in my backpack. The AC is seriously cold! It feels good during the rides, but is too much for me at shows and meals. I will also have lightweight LS items for my two youngest to carry. I would rather carry them around and never use them than wish I had them.

I plan on wearing socks and sneakers rather than sandles for the same reason. If my feet are cold, then all of me is cold.

What is it with that place?! We had the same experience, except to keep warm my children were sitting ON TOP of me!! :scared1: :lmao: I would have sold my right arm for a sweater at that point.
