Should I leave mk for dinner before mvmcp?

we decided to add mvmcp to our existing mk day. We have a park fare scheduled that day at 4:25. So now I’m wondering if we should keep it. Is it going to be a pain to have to wait in the crowds to get back in or do most people come at 4 that are attending the parties. Should we just stay in mk and eat there that day? Any advice would be great because im so torn! Thanks

I wouldn't leave and go back in. Not worth it. You'll be stuck in crowds and lose valuable party time, especially if you want to meet characters (as I believe you can line up for them before the party officially starts). When we go to the halloween or christmas party, we spend the day doing something else (no park at all, basically sleep in, rest, so we can go all night at the party), and are in line for the party at 3:30. I schedule FP+ for 4:10, 5, and 6pm so we get some rides out of the way before the party ever starts, so we have extra time to enjoy the festivities.

We went to MNSSHP earlier this month. We went to AK in the morning and then headed to MK. Our dinner choice was to eat at Jungle Skipper Canteen around 3:30. It was perfect! We were in the park before the crowd came. We got a great meal and had a quiet place to relax before the party.

I wouldn't leave. It's kind of a pain to leave and come back again, IMHO. On party days where we spend some time in the park and also do the party, we try to do a TS around 5/5:30 pm to get out of the crowds that build as party guests mix with day guests. We get our bands prior to eating so by the time we are done, we simply go back into MK and enjoy the party. If you plan on any meet and greets, you should ditch dinner TS altogether and plan to get in line early!
