This question has probably been asked thousands of times before but I'm super unsure if I should rent or just take my own stroller. I heard Julie say that the city minis ate so wonderful but I have an uppa. I think it will be just fine as the shade is big and I also have a detachable shade and a stroll n chill to keep my son cool. Is it really better to rent? I'm a little confused as I've never used a city mini and therefore can't compare my stroller properly. I would hate to get to the parks and be regretting not renting. What's a mother to do?

I'm not sure what your own stroller is like, but the City Mini's are easy to push and maneuver with a heavy load. I used one when my daughter was almost five years old -- we hadn't used a stroller at home for a couple years, but WDW is a large and tiring place.

If you're still comfortable using your own stroller, I would say just bring it. But if you're finding that it's hard to turn as your child grows, you might want to rent one of the easy-to-push City Mini's and save your energy.

Very good advice. We brought our mini, not only for the parks, but for
everyday use, it proved to be invaluable..

I'm not sure which uppa you have. We have a vista we brought when it was just dd1. It was great. Easy to move through crowds. The basket is much bigger and more accessible than the citi mini. The uppa doesn't have the one handed fold but if you are use to folding it, it's not a problem. I love my vista and wish thy made a true double.
We have a double citi elite (citi mini on steroids ) that we brought last time. It was fine. Easy to push. The girls were comfy but I still liked the uppa better.

Thanks for for the very very helpful feedback!!! We actually have the Uppa Cruz and though this is my first to the world with my son I have used this stroller on all our family vacations and day trips to Chicago. I do think the basket is bigger -thanks for the confirmation -and I'm super short so the telescope handle makes it easier for me to push. The breaking down part I leave to my crazy tall husband. Thanks again -one less thing to worry about (still have 5 others lol)

I think your uppababy should be just great. There's also something to be said for the stroller that you and your child are used to. Makes life easier in the buses, etc.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing as he was recently diagnosed with central processing disorder. One more thing to research at Disney lol

The citi minis are nice, but not the be all end all, you'll be just fine with your stroller from home.
