Should I hold out for an AG free shipping code?

I usually try to only order from American Girl when there's free shipping, but I haven't heard of any codes out there right now, except for on Chrissa and her friends. Anyone have any insight as to whether they'll be one before Christmas?

i'm sorry, i wish i could say there'd be another code before Christmas, but it's unlikely. there was one that just expired on October 31st, and there were some good deals on QVC a week or so ago, but i haven't heard of any other codes.

I'm holding out, too. I could swear that two years ago I got some type of code when I ordered my girls' Bitty Babies.

I'm hoping for free shipping on Black Friday (or some kind of code!).

If you think what you want will still be available, you should be OK to wait.

However, personally, I wouldn't wait much longer. Things have a habit of going into backorder status & you might not get your items in time for Christmas. Plus if you wait too long you're stuck with huge ship costs in late December. Sure, they say you can get your items by Dec 24 but you sure pay for it!!

I got an Email today for free shipping on Chrissa and her collection, if that's the one you happen to want. I kind of want to get Gwen, but still think that's over the top (homeless) for a doll!

I ordered yesterday and 5503 takes off a few bucks. Not a lot, but a few bucks. It brought my shipping down from $25.95 to $20.95. So if you are ordering anyway, it's a little bit.

I think there will be another code in November of some sort- either a % off or free shipping. I'd wait too unless it's something already on backorder or you want the Kirsten doll. Everything for Kirsten is now sold out except a few backordered items and the treat set.---Kathy

I am holding out for free shipping till early December. I am thinking of getting the bitty twins set and I don't think they will back ordered (knock on wood) I was a little bummed when I got the email that Chrissa and friends had free shipping going on now b/c I was really hoping it would be free shipping for everything. I want to say last year they had free shipping in November or early December. I am bummed I missed the free shipping in October. I would have just ordered then.

But if it is something your little girl has to have for Christmas, I might not risk waiting for free shipping.
