Should I go ahead and book now anyway?

My husband and I are taking his little sister on a surprise WDW trip as her Grade 8 Graduation present! We are going Feb. 22 - March 2nd. We are purposely avoiding President's week.

There are no codes out yet for those dates (only up to Feb. 13).

My question is do I go ahead and book us at The All Star Music (or which ever all star I can get) with the rack rate now....AND will I be able to change my reservation should come out for that time?

I dont' want to wait for a code and then have no availability.

We are Canadian and can't pass up going with the Buy 1 Park Hopper Plus pass get the 2nd at 50% and 3rd at 25%. (not that we ever REALLY need an excuse to go to WDW!!!)

I would book it since there may not be a code at that time anyway. From what I've heard, there aren't necessarily codes available during peak season so I would book it before the rooms get taken. You can always apply any codes that come out later, just be sure too keep looking and call as soon as they come out.

There will probably not be a code at that time. I was there at that time last year, and there was no code.

Is there a discount for Canadian AAA? You might look into that.

Canadian CAA always has a discount rate, but its not *that* much off of the rack rate, plus you have to pay 30 days advance, where as if I book through CRO we can pay when we get there which is a bonus for us.

I checked out the typical times the codes are released on mousesavers.com and for the past 2 years there have been codes released early Jan for Canadian Residents only for the times we want to go february-march.

I think I may just book through CRO anyway and hope a code comes out, if not I can always try CAA.
