Just wanted feedback from anyone with wait list experience. I am going to Disney 2/18- 2/23 and I am wait listed for 2 days. This is president's weekend, so I am actually not surprised about the wait list.....I booked my stay at VWL at 10 months- (wasn't organized enough to book at 11 months) I have a cash reservation for a cabin at the campground just in case for my length of stay. Would I be better off to just try and switch my whole reservation to OKW or SSR now, or should I wait and keep my fingers crossed since I do have a back up plan with the cabins and paying cash. Any thought? Thanks for your input.

I'd keep the waitlist. There's still time and you do have a back up plan. Good luck!

If you would pick SSR over the option if the waitlist doesn't come through I would wait about till about 60 more days out before arrival and then switch it. SSR should still have avail. (fingers crossed for you.)

If you are okay with your back up plan... I would let it ride :) YOU are well ahead of the 7 month window, there shouldn't be toooooo many people ahead of you and people do cancel.

Keep your wait list. My wife and I wait listed for a studio at either BCV or BWV for 12/30 & 12/31. After several months on the list the studio at BCV became available. If you can get a studio at BCV for New Years Eve, anything is possible ! :thumbsup2

We go to WDW at the busiest times and our waitlists have always come through....some even the night before we were leaving I happened to check the DVC member website and it came through! We would have gone to the wrong one had I not checked! Here is some pixie dust for your waitlist wishes!!:wizard::wizard:
