Should I get DDP for 2 days?

I have booked 2 nights at BCV for September.

I am looking to make evening ADRs for Yachtsman Steakhouse and Cape May Cafe for our 2 nights.

I can add the DDP for $45.99 per night, and DxDDP: $78.99 per night, per guest.

For those in the know - is it going to be worth it? Or should I just pay OOP?

Do you know that you have to purchase park tickets with your BCV reservation? Or are you using DVC points? (Ignore me if you already know that :goodvibes)

Have you done a rough tally up to see what you may be spending at those two restaurants? I don't think I could do deluxe, but if I did I would opt for it over a short stay like yourselves. You can start using the DxDDP credits from your check in day so effectively you have 3 days in which to use up the 6 credits. If there are a few nice places you want to eat at, this may well be worth looking at in your case.

You really have to add up what you anticipate spending on the meals you really want and not be tempted to throw in other must-do's for the sake of justifying needing extra credits. Most people do come out better on the regular DDP unless they don't do dessert/drink with their meals. Remember you get an appy with deluxe too.

go to http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm and check out prices for were you want to eat and if the prices work out then add it:thumbsup2

Thanks guys :thumbsup2

We are renting DVC for our stay.

You have confirmed what I was thinking - that I might have to cost up each restaurant individually - we could get a nice Boma or similar on-site breakfast too ;)

I guess its a weekend with the computer :surfweb: and calculator , oh and maybe a glass of wine too..... :rotfl:

Doing DDP math calls for a case of wine. I don't know where you get the glass from - looks like you need some already :lmao:

If it's just a 2 day splurge and you have some places you really want to eat then I suspect you may come out well ahead on the DDP. Also keep in mind when adding that you need to add tax to the menu items. Tax is included in the cost of the DDP but not on the menus ;)

no tax on the bottle off wine just an 18% tip:rotfl2:

I could tread my own grapes and bottle it for 18% :rotfl:

No, stick to drinking the ready produced bottles. You can get your exercise with a few laps around the world showcase to get to all those ADRs on your DxDDP ;)
