Should I do the free dining or keep our stay at the Swan?

I can't figure out which is the best way for the 4 ( 2 adults + 2 kids over 10= 4 adults) of us go? I have a teachers' rate at the Swan. I would still need to purchase a 1-day ticket for just one (we have enough tickets for all the days for everyone).

Now I have added a pool view at AKL with a 1-day base ticket and free dining. The price difference is $613, but I will be gaining 3 park tickets worth $201. This would lower the price difference to $412. And the TS meals would be at Le Cellier (dinner), Boma (breakfast), and ????
(Le Cellier is the only place we were planning on going to for dinner this trip until they announced the free dining.)

Can anyone tell me if it would be worth it?

The kids do not eat much, and we are following this stay in WDW with a 7 day DCL trip. I think I am beginning to answer my own question while working through it on paper, but I would others thoughts who have done it in the past.

Thanks so very much.

WE have reservations at the Dolphin w/ the teacher discount of $129. SO for 7 nights it was like $1000.oo and some change. Excellant we thought. WE have 4 days each worth of passes already.

Well we just made our reservation for the POP w/ the free dining and I day ticket, plus we added on a day to the beginning for a total of $755 and some change. We will definately do the Pop.

You have to eat even if you were only planning a few fancier meals. FIgure out about how much you spend on food see if it's worth it for you. For us it was worth it. Althoug I won't be cancelling the DOlphin resrvation for a little bit yet. Just in case.
