I have only done this once before, Yacht Club, for DH, Poly for the 3 ds and myself and AKL for the 3 ds. Now for Nov. 27-Dec. 4th I have a decision. DH dream has been to stay at the Grand Floridian one day. I thinks its just way too expensive, that is why I am just thinking of Nov. 27th, then on the 28-30th we will be at the swan for a conference and that room is part of the conference fee. Then that leaves Dec. 1-3. We like the swan because its the lst bus stop but already we asked about a room for those days and he told us there will only be discounts based on availability. The rate quoted so far is non discount like close to $300. I would like the contemp. but know those rooms are being held for another conference. It looks like a busy time and the deluxes might be fuller than normal. We have aps and I dont know what the best rate is for the deluxes, but I am wondering to think if we should just stay put, I really hate packing and repacking or maybe going back to the poly again or yacht or beach etc. We have been to them all so there is no resort we are dying to try, but the christmas decorations would be a consideration and also transportation ease. I know its a hassle to share the bus with all the epcot resorts etc. so that is why I am thinking of the Poly again, but I am also thinking that is when they are fiilming the mk parade etc. So far I am thinking of doing Mvmcp on dec. lst and the candelight processional on the 2nd, so that is why I am thinking an MK resort then. Any feedback. There are 5 of us so we have to go deluxe. I also dont feel comfortable trying to hold out for an ap rate which might not happen.

On our last trip we did 3 nts. at BCV, 5 nts. at VWL and then 2 nts. at SSR. We also have 5 in our family and we decided that three was too much. It took too much time out of our trip. We figured that we lost 2 full days practically by switching, and the packing and unpacking was a lot. We have decided that we will only switch one time on our future trips. It was nice to try the resorts but not worth the hassle of switching so much. In your situation though, you have to decide if you want to pay that much($300/nt.) for a room. Of course, you could always book the Swan and then check for a rate later and then change your resort. If you are only at GF for 1 nt. you won't really be unpacking, and you could just take a separate bag with stuff for just that one night and leave everything else untouched until you move. Just a thought.

Anyway have fun! WDW at that time of year is great!!! We love it then!
